Murray River Turtle,
Emydura macquarii macquarii
Murray Darling River System SA and Victoria Inland NSW.
This species is commonly sold in pet shops in Australia - usually as hatchlings.
(And currently considered to also cover the areas listed next to the following races of turtle)
