COMMON WOLF SNAKE
Lycodon capucinus

Found on Christmas Island - (Australian Territory) and
widespread through South East Asia.

Harmless - (not venomous, or extremely weak venom)

The Common Wolf Snake (Lycodon capucinus) has probably only recently colonised Christmas Island is a rear fanged, however if it does possess venom the affects seem to unnoticeable and although considered harmless, it will sometimes bite when handled.

Note that some sites describe this as venomous and others report it to be non-venomous.
