Distribution:- Found in Central and Western and Southern Africa (This species appears to be establishing itself in the Everglades, Florida USA, where it is not a native species)

Comments:- The African Rock Python (Python sebae) grows to approximately 6 metres (20ft) This is Africa's largest species of snake.

The Southern African Rock Python (Python natalensis) previously known as (Python sebae natalensis) is smaller than its close relative from the North (Python sebae)
