Western African Slender-snouted Crocodile

Mecistops cataphractus

Distribution:- Western Africa

Central African Slender-snouted Crocodile

Mecistops leptorhynchus

Distribution:- Central Africa

These species have only recently been split from Mecistops cataphractus and very little information is currently available.

Comments:- Grows to about 3 to 4 meters long (10 to13 ft)
